Who Am i

Without getting too much into myself, I would just like to share how I look at my life in this world. To me the way to please others is to first please God. By pleasing God others will be pleased and if they’re not, at least I can have the confidence with God, knowing in my honesty I have been responsible without being self-centered. I know that the world is in confusion and as a society our priorities have been corrupted. I feel like an alien in this world, not that I’m different or better than anyone else. I just know that heaven is better than I could possibly imagine and I have a pretty active imagination. I know my life on this planet is merely an instant of my eternal existence and I know that eternal existence certainly does exist in an eternal paradise. No person on earth can tell me otherwise what I know to be true. Many people, I would imagine, have a problem with my knowing the certainty of this subject, but my knowing and your believing do not have to coincide. If your religion teaches you other than what you’ll read about from me, then don’t look at this like a religion. I don’t. What I know is the true and real reality; it’s not a religion at all. I don’t consider my relationship with my earthly parents as a religion, so why should I label my Father in heaven that way? I am the way my Father made me and it’s the way He made me that He would rather see; not some act of pretentious self-righteousness. Live and let live and let God be the judge. We’re all different types and colors of flowers in God’s wonderful garden.

What are my intentions and motives for writing this? Primarily to inform the masses, at least the reachable few and I know that a great majority, especially the Christian community, will find most of what I have to say hard to swallow. Basically I’m not looking for any followers, nor do I care to have your money. If you have taken the time to read this and given it some deep consideration, then you have done exactly what I’ve hoped for. There’s no specific church for me to say that’s best for you to attend. If you go to a church or want to go to a church, find the one that satisfies your spiritual hunger. After a while, if you find the church you attend no longer satisfies your spiritual hunger, find a new one that does. If you don’t have a spiritual hunger and you don’t trust in the Lord in all matters, then there’s a strong chance that you’re destined to suffer many hardships, both spiritually and physically leading up to the Lord’s return. The main thing is to always be growing spiritually as you walk this life in the Spirit of Love. That’s the part of you that goes on after your earthly body is finished. Also, in your spiritual quest for truth, be aware of the routines which desensitize you spiritually, like the traditions of the self-righteous hypocrites, repetitious prayers and rituals; all those things that do nothing for people around you except to show what a religious person you are. Work on the inside, which is your heart, the symbol of your spiritual well-being and the outside will take care of itself.

But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret will reward you openly. But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. (Matthew 6:6-7) A relationship with your Father, the Almighty Creator is an internal thing, it’s not supposed to be open on display for everyone to see. Serve Him first, others second and leave your life in His hands. I like the way the Christian rock group Petra sings it; "The road to Zion’s in your heart." Work on the inside first and foremost. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

I believe that the more spiritual knowledge people acquire, the better they become at making the adjustments in their life that bring about peace to others and within themselves. Eventually, we will all have to stand before the One who loves us more than we can imagine and we’ll have to give an account of all the shameful and selfish things we have done and lived by. I can’t wait to embrace the Lord, but I’m not looking forward to watching any and all the negative things I’ve done affecting the people around me in my life-time.

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes: but know you, that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity. (Ecclesiastes 11:9-10) Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. (2John :9)

The more in tune we are with our Heavenly Father, the more our prayers will be answered, because then our Father’s will becomes our will.
